I cannot recommend Kimono Cycle highly enough, other than I don't want competition for the best shirts on the internet.

While my mother had been preserving a komon given to her by a cousin in the back of her closet for several decades, I, who was supposed to wear it, had become a little too "adult" to wear it as a kimono. But I liked it so much as a fabric that I asked for a custom-made shirt to reincarnate it as an aloha shirt.
