We are pleased to announce that a new XXL size has been added to our Kimono Aloha Shirt size range. With S, M, L, XL, and XXL now available, more customers can enjoy our Kimono Aloha Shirts.
Why we added XXL size
KIMONO-CYCLE's Aloha shirts are loved by many customers overseas, especially in the United States. We have received numerous requests for "a size larger than what you currently offer."
However, creating larger sizes was not an easy task.
Our Aloha shirts are made from vintage silk kimonos. The width of kimono fabric is fixed at approximately 36-40cm, and to tailor a single shirt, we must carefully cut the fabric from the limited supply while considering the flow of the pattern. As the size increases, more fabric is required, and the difficulty of pattern matching also rises.
After much trial and error and innovations in fabric layout, we are finally able to offer the XXL size.
About the sizes
XXL has a chest circumference of 132cm (approximately 52 inches). With a relaxed fit, it is recommended for those with larger builds, as well as those who prefer an oversized look.

Tips for choosing your size
- For those who want a fitted look: Please choose a size by comparing it to the chest and shoulder width of shirts you normally wear.
- For those who want a relaxed fit: Choosing one size up will give you the relaxed aloha shirt feel.
- Aloha shirts are traditionally meant to be worn loosely, allowing air to flow through. If in doubt, we recommend going a size up.
